RAINBOW STEPPER/And Behold MIKEY DREAD/Paradise Earthquake Recs. 12" EX RARE
Earthquake Records Jamaica, catalog number EQ001, a crucial double A-Side from Rainbow Stepper and Mikey Dread, "And Behold" the Rainbow Stepper track, "Paradise" from Mikey. Arrangement on both sides credited to Alton Ellis. Two fantastic tracks, late '70s vintage, I believe. Also believe this to ba a Jamaican pressing; may be UK. In a Clarendon Sound sleeve--not sure why but this is the one containing the 12" when I bought it. Plastic-lined inner with the sleeve has kept things in great shape. Played once or twice back in the day--recently spun it to check for noise/warps--there are a few pops and clicks but otherwise all is fantastic, like new. As nice a copy of this very rare 12" as you're gonna find. Cleaned on the VPI machine. Bid with confidence. Thanks, have fun and good luck.
