RAMP 'COME INTO KNOWLEDGE' Original Pressing LP - RARE (ABC/Blue Thumb BT-6028 , 1977)
The one and only sought-after album by this Cincinnati-based rare-groove/soul-funk band produced by Roy Ayers seems to always be a hard-to-find title in any decent shape -- and this copy is more than decent!
Cover is very strong VG(+) with ringwear + storage seam wear and a small "Special" sticker on upper right of front jacket. Vinyl shows a few surface scuffs with marks causing a couple of audible clicks on Side 2 Track 1. Overall, I would rate Side 2 vinyl as looking VG but it actually play-grades and sounds significantly better, much closer to a strong VG(+) or better throughout most of Side 2. Side 1 vinyl is also a solid VG(+). All in all, a great-sounding play-copy of a rare LP that most listeners + DJs should highly enjoy and appreciate. This is a double from my own personal collection.
