RAMPAL & LAGOYA IN CONCERT –
2LP Rca ARL2-2631 –
MINT!

A wonderful evening of duets from virtuosos Rampal on flute and Lagoya on guitar. The affair was recorded “live” in NYC on March 27, 1977, and was the first time Lagoya had played in the States for a decade.  (The concert sold out in two hours.)

Here they deliver with aplomb music of Scheidler, CPE Bach, Sanz, Paganini, Shankar, Villa-Lobos, Sor, Giuliani, Ibert, Beethoven, Tarrega, and Debussy.

A splendid set, here in a gatefold cover without major fault; both records inside look entirely unplayed, mint.

For other fine records, TAS picks and hard-to-finds, please see my complete list of offerings here on eBay.

Shipping and handling is $5 for up to 5 LPs shipped within the States. Internationally, $15 via airmail for the first LP, $3 each thereafter. (Canada is half that.) Boxes over 4 lbs., add another $6, because First Class is no longer available at that weight, just Priority Mail. Note, too, boxed sets of LPs require more postage.
