Description
This is by far the most important record I have ever owned (and sold). As this was the record that got me into punk rock, I tracked this one down in 2000 and paid quite a pretty penny. It came directly from an Epitaph employee (who later went on to form Dionysus Records). I also received a Test Press of Life Won't Wait, which I was also forced to part with a few years back. This is one of the original Epitaph test pressings of Rancid's all-time classic ....And Out Come The Wolves. I was told there were five made and four went to the band in '95. This was the label's copy.
Although I couldn't get a very clear picture of the matrix etchings, they are : S-31747 and 86444-1-A. The vinyl itself is in Ex- condition (some minor scuffing). For the duration of the time I owned the record, it was framed and well-cared for. If you are curious as to why I would want to part with one of my favorite possessions, I quite simply do not have the funds at this time to have so much of my total worth (unfortunately) tied up into one awesome record. I genuinely hope this record winds up with someone that will value it as much as I have!
