Description

Excellent condition 12-inch vinyl LP of INDESTRUCTIBLE by RANCID – please see below for full grading info.

2003 Hellcat Records 2xLP US first pressing on translucent red vinyl in printed inner sleeves (catalogue number 80451-1). Features ‘Killing Zone’ as a bonus track on Side D.

Also included is my original CD of the album (I have two copies). This is housed in a reversible slipcase as shown, and comes with the original inlay booklet.  The disc has a few surface scuff marks, but has been tested from start to finish and plays perfectly. Light scuffing to the booklet cover edges which are only really visible in the light!

LP was bought new, has been stored in a plastic sleeve since purchase and only played a handful of times since.

From my own personal collection in a smoke/pet-free home - I was made redundant as a result of the pandemic and have decided to sell off part of my record collection to help make ends meet. Check out my other items as I'm selling more rock/indie/alternative vinyl from the 60s/70s/80s/90s/00s and am happy to combine postage for multiple purchases!

Please read all the details below for individual item information.

CONDITION INFO – PLEASE READ IN FULL BEFORE PURCHASE!

I am a vinyl collector myself, so know how disappointing it can be when listings either aren’t accurate or the seller doesn’t take sufficient care with postage! I have therefore tried my best to list and show all defects, no matter how minor - for rarer and collectible items, I also tend to grade quite conservatively to err on the side of caution.

ALL RECORDS HAVE BEEN PLAYED THROUGH FROM START TO FINISH TO ASCERTAIN THEIR CONDITION PRIOR TO LISTING. While the grading of vinyl always retains a degree of subjectivity due to different people’s interpretations of the criteria, they have been graded to a standard that I would be happy receiving as a (quite fussy!) purchaser/collector. I use a (+) and (-) system to try and give a slightly more accurate grade where applicable.

Advisory grading is therefore as follows -

VINYL: Near Mint(-): very light surface crackle in a handful of places, plus a couple of small pops towards the end of D1– basically just general vinyl surface noise! Small surface scuffs on a couple of tracks (pressing marks on the vinyl surface, i.e. underneath the grooves) which don’t affect the play – a similar surface scuff on D5 causes a couple of small pops on this track, but this is not intrusive in any way. Both records are clean with no jumps on my turntable – overall play quality is really close on Near Mint throughout!
SLEEVE: Near Mint(-): very light superficial surface indentation on cover from record shape. Tiny nick to outer lip towards top of cover. Small yellow mark in top-right corner of cover. Otherwise essentially Near Mint.
INNERS: Ex (light surface creasing to both inners from record shape. More pronounced surface creasing to one corner on both sleeves – see photos.)

* Please be aware that the play-quality of any vinyl record is always dependent on stylus sensitivity and the quality of the owner’s audio equipment, so it is impossible to be 100% accurate with grading veracity (my own home set-up is a fairly modest SoundLab turntable, Lepai mini-amp and 2 x Bose speakers). I have done my best to flag any potential issues for the sake of transparency, but can obviously only grade records based on the sound emanating from my own equipment!

Due to my personal circumstances, I cannot give refunds or accept returns (particularly when based on subjective interpretations of grading criteria), so please ensure that you have read the item description in full before buying.

All records are sold and dispatched as shown/described here. In the unlikely event that there is any problem with your item, please contact me before leaving feedback and I will do my best to resolve this in a way that’s fair for both buyer and seller. However, please note that I cannot be held responsible for any damage sustained in transmit when all reasonable precautions have been taken to ensure the item’s safety!
