Description

Radio Transcription Company

Transco Orchestra #A-521 and A-525

Studio Orchestra quality transcription

Music of Lehar, Gershwin, Romberg,

English Folk Music : "In an English Country Garden"

and Johnson, Woods and Kate Smith opus from 1931:

"When the Moon Comes Over the Mountain" (No Kate; just full orchestra)

condition: E+/E+

An amazing "no talking" early radio program designed for an announcer to do a voice over between selections. The arrangements are NOT sleepy waltzes, but nice up tempo recordings w/o vocals of this great music. Rare to find a World Transcription from this era in such amazing condition! Plays perfectly!

The perfect background music for that Mumm's champagne luncheon with the folks.

16 inch diameter,  Lateral grooves,  plays from inside to out,  33/13 rpm,  use .0275 TS needle

weight 2.5 pounds -  I'm using calculated shipping costs for this disc

If you and questions or would like to hear samples (see below) don't hesitate to ask!

As with all records purchased from me, they are cleaned with the VPI professional Record Washing System, so the sides are free of grit and dirt and they are CLEAN!

IF YOU WISH TO HEAR FULL SAMPLE SIDES, EMAIL ME AND I WILL SUPPLY MPEG3 FILES OFF THE TURNTABLE (A REK-O-CUT RESTORATION DECK WITH A STANTON 500-V3 CARTRIDGE, WITH A .00325 INCH ELLIPTICAL-TRUNCATED STYLUS WITH PROPER PRESSURE AND NO EQ). THEN YOU CAN BE THE JUDGE!

This is part of a huge collection that I am trying to get posted on EBAY.  I will happy to combine orders to save shipping costs.
