RADIO SHOW TRANSCRIPTION DISC FROM TRANSAMERICAN BROADCASTING & TELEVISION CORPORATION.  ONE COMPLETE 15 MINUTE RADIO PROGRAM AND 15 MINUTES OF A 30 MINUTE RADIO PROGRAM ON THIS 16 INCH, BLACK LACQUER ACETATE, 33 1/3 RPM DISC.  THIS DISC WAS RECORDED FOR REFERENCE PURPOSES ONLY AND NOT AVAILABLE TO THE GENERAL PUBLIC.  VERY RARE!  

"The Life Of Mary Sothern" radio program #948 circa 1940.  Program is sponsored by Ipana Toothpase with commercials

The most interesting feature of this disc is on the reverse side, which contains approximately 15 minutes of "The Bob Hope Show" radio program from February 13, 1940 starring Bob Hope with Judy Garland, Bill Goodwin, Skinnay Ennis & His Orchestra.  The disc begins during Bob Hope's opening monologue.  Includes a skit with Bob Hope & Judy Garland, re-creating what dating would have been like in the 1890's.  Judy Garland sings "All The Things You Are".  Skinnay Ennis sings "Holy Smoke Can't You Take A Joke".  Program is sponsored by Pepsodent.  I could not find any reference to any existing copy of this radio program in any log or database

Disc is in Excellent- Condition with Excellent- sound, Beautiful Disc! 

The Life Of Mary Sothern side of the disc is recorded in vertical format, the Bob Hope Show side of the disc is recorded in lateral format

Due to their size, 16 inch discs will not play on most standard turntables.   For $10 I can include a CD transfer of the entire disc for the buyer
