“The Fred Allen Show” Radio Show Transcription Discs
One Complete 30 Minute Radio Program On These two 16 inch, one sided, Vinyl, 33 1/3 rpm Discs
These are most likely test pressings and were most likely never issued to or played by any radio station. These discs were Not Available To The General Public, Very Rare!
"The Fred Allen Show" radio program from November 18, 1945 starring FRED ALLEN with regulars Portland Hoffa, Minerva Pious & Kenny Delmar and special guest BORIS KARLOFF.
Program includes a very funny/spooky skit where Fred Allen goes to a rental agency looking for a house to rent, and ends up at Boris Karloff's house. Boris Karloff gives Fred Allen a tour of the house for rent, even mentions that Frankenstein lives there - he hasn't made a monster in 3 years - no parts due to the war! A very funny program!
Discs are in Excellent+ condition with Excellent+ sound. Absolutely beautiful discs!
