WOODY HERMAN TRANSCRIPTION DISC. 4 SONGS ON THIS 16 INCH, BLACK LACQUER ACETATE 33 1/3 RPM DISC. THIS DISC WAS RECORDED FOR REFERENCE PURPOSES ONLY AND NOT AVAILABLE TO THE GENERAL PUBLIC. VERY RARE!
This rare disc contains 4 songs recorded by Woody Herman. There are two dates written on the sleeve, May 30, 1952 & July 7, 1952.
Songs include "Blues In Advance", "Jump Into Line", "Termita", "Stompin' At The Savoy". "Blues In Advance" & "Jump Into Line" have a male vocal, presumably by Woody Herman. In addition to the 4 complete songs there are incomplete versions of "Jump Into Line", "Termita" & "Stompin' At The Savoy"
Disc is in Excellent+ Condition with Excellent+ to Near Mint- sound, Beautiful Disc! There is a tear in the sleeve which is visible in the scan
Due to their size, 16 inch discs will not play on most standard turntables. For $10 I can include a CD transfer of the entire disc for the buyer
