This is a scarce ORIGINAL 1959 PRESSING of a the legendary release by BOB McFADDEN AND DOR called SONGS OUR MUMMY TAUGHT US. The album was issued as Brunswick 54056; this is a MONO copy. COLLECTOR PRICE GUIDES VALUE IT AT $200. 12 cuts include THE MUMMY, THE BEAT GENERATION, SON OF THE MUMMY, BINGO, HOUND DOG, THE SHEIK OF ARABY--SHRIEK OF AGONY-CHA CHA CHA, SHAKE RATTLE AND ROLL, NOISY VILLAGE and FRANKIE AND IGOR AT A ROCK AND ROLL PARTY. Jacket has light ring wear and a strip of clear tape on the top and bottom seams; the VINYL is in excellent condition with light surface scuffing that does not impair play.
