Description
This rare and original 33-1/3 LP 7" diameter record was handed out by Chevrolet Dealers to promote the all new 1961 Chevrolet Corvette sports car. It features Gene Stanley, General Manager of Chevrolet, and a narration by Zora Arkus-Duntov, the "Father of Corvette". The promo record is the size of a 45 but actually plays at 33 1/3 rpm. Chevrolet's General Manager, K.E. Staley does a narration talking about the new Corvette and then Zora takes you for a thrilling ride through the gears and around the test track in a 1961 Fuel Injected Corvette. The sounds are awesome! The record is in excellent condition. The sleeve also is in excellent condition ... no fraying, marks, folds or stains. This record is a must have for a 1961 Corvette owner or Corvette memorabilia collector. Thanks for looking.
