Description
Please Please Me STEREO on the YELLOW & BLACK Parlophone Label
A rare collectors item! Yellow & Black stereo labels don't come up often!
A 1965 pressing identifiable by:
- Garrod & Lofthouse Ltd. front laminated cover, with small stereo on the front
- Black Parlophone label with yellow logo and silver print
- “The Gramophone Co. Ltd.” printed at the start perimeter print
- “Sold in UK…” text above the spindle hole
- ?1963 underneath matrix number
- Matrix runout numbers: Side 1: YEX 94-1; Side 2: YEX 95-1

Very Good - disk is nice and flat with a good shine. Some light scuffs and one notable scratch (see pictures) that do not affect the listening experience on the whole. No scratch deep enough to feel, mostly just wispy. Background noise is present in quieter passages and there are signs of handling. Some very light ring wear but hole is not mis-shapen. All text clear and visible. I have play tested it and there are no skips or jumps at all!
Excellent/ Very Good Plus- has only minor wear. No splits, all writing visible. No major creases. Corners in great shape. No names written on the cover.
