Payment is required within seven days. We mail all paid items ONE WEEK after auctions end. Please keep in mind our listings are time consuming in detail and we are often traveling to find these gems, which at times delays the delivery schedule by a day or two. We ALWAYS process and ship every paid order. We have no control over parcels once they are mailed from our local Post Office.Overseas mail to some countries (Italy, Russia, France, in particular) has became very slow. Opening a dispute for slow mail is unacceptable and will result in blocking the bidder. We work hard to provide excellent service as is represented by our 8000 plus positive feedback. We use a VPI machine and thoroughly clean all records. Each order is carefully packaged by removing the LP from the jacket to avoid seam splits, use of 3 ml plastic cover sleeves over each LP and jacket, cardboard pad inserts, and placed in sturdy record mailers for safe delivery. RARE and sought after Original 1971 first pressing of a HEAVY status progressive-rock collectible on the very collectible GLOBAL label....
BIG SLEEP, a crew of five, including two keyboard players with connections to other bands such as The Eyes Of Blue, Ancient Grease, & Gentle Giant, created together a one off obscure album that gets high praise among progressive collector circles - even when they were under-appreciated by the music press ...
"Bluebell Wood" features fine songs with diverse styles (prog to blues, acid, jazz) sounding in the vein of CRESSIDA, and Hannibal, and has been sought after by collectors for many years thanks to its influence and place in the history of British progressive rock ...overall, an accomplished album featuring their two keyboard players who lead the bands sound laden with piano/organ textures. The album highlights include 'Death Of A Hope' which features a liberal sprinkling of keyboard-strings and an almost etheral orchestral arrangement. 'Aunty James' includes some simple but beautifully appropriate organ fills, and then 'Saint And Sceptic' is introduced with some baroque wah-wah guitar. The title track, 'Bluebell Wood', is a long 11:26 progressive tour-de-force, mainly instrumental but with an occasional quasi-mystical lyric thrown in to season the recipe.

CONDITION: The Cover: Very nice...fully laminated gatefold is in the top levels of "EX" (excellent) to M- with nothing to report other than reatining it's original colors, no bends, no writing and no split seams .. just carefully handled over the past 42 years...
The Vinyl: all shiny over both sides and only havingvisual inner sleeve paper scuffs which do not affect play, visually near "EX" (excellent) and plays clean without problem ... both Global labels are clean
