Payment is required within seven days. We mail all paid items ONE WEEK after auctions end. Please keep in mind our listings are time consuming in detail and we are often traveling to find these gems, which at times delays the delivery schedule by a day or two. We ALWAYS process and ship every paid order. We have no control over parcels once they are mailed from our local Post Office.Overseas mail to some countries (Italy, Russia, France, in particular) has became very slow. Opening a dispute for slow mail is unacceptable and will result in blocking the bidder. We work hard to provide excellent service as is represented by our 8000 plus positive feedback. We use a VPI machine and thoroughly clean all records. Each order is carefully packaged by removing the LP from the jacket to avoid seam splits, use of 3 ml plastic cover sleeves over each LP and jacket, cardboard pad inserts, and placed in sturdy record mailers for safe delivery. RARE and obscure Original 1971 first pressing vinyl of a flipped-out, sought after, underground electronics psych artifact -- pure listening theatre...
Turkish electronic composer: Ilhan Mimaroglu's Wings of the Delirious Demon (1969), is pure, sonic heroin. Ring-modulated instruments are twisted and turned into wailing demons and sirens. Starting with a menacing, yet typical Columbia University Electronic Music Studio type sound, the piece evolves into crazy tape percolations, flying into shifting landscapes, and ending with the sound of beating wings. Harsh yet evocative. Listening to this album as-is, today, it might not occur to one that it was made by feeding the sounds through tape decks and "bent" circuits – that is, rather primitive technology, by today's standards. And it is or is not music to trip by – it is disorienting, chaotic, and "wrong," as it strains to mutate sounds and sound itself. Ilhan Mimaroglu is not nearly as often mentioned as electronic-music pioneers such as John Cage, Iannis Xenakis, Stockhausen, Mortons Feldman and Subotnick, et al., but what he was doing in the '60s was unique among his peers, and at least as ground-breaking as any of their work. Wings has never been officially reissued...

CONDITION: The Cover: Solid all over; near "EX" (excellent) having no problems aside from a little minor inch of very top seam rub and top corner light stain that may or may not be part of the cover design...no problem anyway, highly collectible copy. With no bends, No split seams, no writing
The Vinyl: Very clean M- over both sides...a top copy that plays perfect and has clean labels...
