Description
This item is "The Franklin Brothers" lp record from 1972. The Franklin's were from the Water Valley, Wingo, and Fulton, Kentucky area. The Franklin Brothers consisted of twins Wesley (d. 1922) and Lesley, Roy, and Terry. Also Dewayne and Charles Rowe. I believe one of the twins, Lesley, currently resides in Hickman, Kentucky. This was recorded at Kennett Sound Studios in Kennett, Missouri. Cover is in good condition with name and phone number of original owner on back. I played this on one of my turntables and there is some sporadic popping on some of the songs. However, it is still listenable. Sold "as is". This is a great piece of local interest memorabilia!
