Description
On offer here is a rare example of the 1972 UK HAWKWIND LP titled “DOREMI FASOL LATIDO” on the UNITED ARTISTS label No. UAG 29364 with matrix numbers ending in A-2U& B-2U, PORKY & PECKO also etched in the run off wax.
Record comes complete with black & silver cover, printed Hawklords inner sleeve and the rare Star Rats poster.
Although the labels are stamped ‘Manufactured in Germany’ this was due to the UK in 1972 experiencing serious industrial action (for those old enough, remember the three day week) throughout the country and record manufacturers contracted out to their various overseas factories to press them. This can be borne out with the labels having ‘Manufactured in UK’ around the rim, with a line crossing it out (see scan).

This record rarely turns up at auction especially this early pressing complete with poster in the condition that this is.
Record just a couple of light surface marks, cover just the odd edge scuff, poster as new, inner sleeve having a strip of clear tape on lower edge.
All in all a lovely example of this rare item, and as usual with my items, no reserve and low a starting bid.
