The story of how the beautiful Embassy Theatre in Fort Wayne, Indiana and its amazing Grande Page 4/15 Pipe Organ were saved from being turned into a parking lot by citizens banding together as the Embassy Theatre Foundation, is well known to theatre organ connoisseurs around the world.

Offered here is a very rare and highly desirable period souvenir of this great story.

This record album was put out by the Foundation itself just after it had triumphed and acquired the property on September 4, 1975. Since they then had to raise an additional $50,000 within a year, they launched a funding drive and this album was part of it.

It comes with the membership pitch brochure that recounts the details of the events of 1975 and lays out plans for the future.

However, the even greater significance of this album is that it features the theatre's long-time house organist, American Theatre Organ Society Hall of Famer Buddy Nolan, performing seven songs on the famous "Miss Page" organ.

One of the songs is "Let Me Entertain You" which was memorably featured in the midnight shows he was famous for.

Remarkably, NONE of these songs (including "Let Me Entertain You") appear on any of the three previous Buddy Nolan records released by the Concert Recording Company between 1966 and 1971:

The Two Loves of Buddy Nolan is NOT listed in Discogs and even though there's quite alot of stories and information about him on the web, this album is not mentioned.

Considering that this album is also the only one that features him playing songs on a SECOND organ, the 4/26 Wurlitzer at Old Town Music Hall in El Segundo, California, and that this album was released to celebrate the triumph he was so centrally involved with, this must be considered the most important Buddy Nolan album.

A worthy addition to even the most advanced collection of theatre, theatre organ, and Indiana memorabilia. And, who knows when another one will emerge.

Condition: Superb. Original shrinkwrap is still in place, neatly slit open. Sleeve is undamaged. Inner sleeve is present. EXCELLENT VINYL approaches near mint condition. This is a choice copy of a very rare record. You will be pleased.
