Description
The photo of the box shows coloration from my crummy camera and the floodlight I use to take pictures. The lettering is all silver on the box. This auction is for the 20 LP box set released in 1984 by Capitol Records 'Frank Sinatra The Capitol Years.' The set contains all his Capitol LPs, which are considered to be the zenith of Sinatra's recording career. This set is very hard to find. The box has spots in the Sinatra name on the top, and there are two minor paper tears to the bottom near one of the corners of the hinge. There is also a white scuff line on the bottom that may come off with an eraser. The booklet is in very good condition. The LPs are all in Near Mint or VG++ condition, except one that has a double label on one side. I have never seen anything like it, but in the factory two labels were stuck to the same side on one LP, and the second label covers part of the last cut on that side. So one cut is unavailable on one LP only. This is pictured. 4 LPs are in VG++ condition (they are the ones with postit notes them), and the others are near mint, except the double label one, of course. I haven't played any of them, but they look like they will play very well. The covers are all made of thin cardboard, but they look great. The LPs are thin as they were made in the 1980's, and the label is the 80's label which mimics the 60's Capitol label. Email any questions.
