RARE 40 MINUTE EDISON DIAMOND DISC RECORD 30003 1ST LP ALBERT SPALDING +

    This is a very rare Edison 40 minute Diamond Disc record #30003 produced in 1926. These are extremely rare as they were made for only a short period of time and could only be played on a machine made for only these early long play records.
   The record includes the following music:  SIDE 30003-L: CAVATINA; VALSE BLUETTE; MELODY IN F; FANTAISIE IMPROMPTU; ROSES OF PICARDY; HUMORESKE; RECITAL BY ALBERT SPALDING SIDE 30003-R: THAIS; CHANT SANS PAROLES; SPRING SONG; VALSE-ARABESQUE; SOUVENIR; DRINK TO ME ONLY WITH THINE EYES; RECITAL BY ALBERT SPALDING

   The record is in good condition with some visible scratches/marks. There are two rim chips the larger of which comes right to the edge of the playing surface. The record is sold untested and as-is as we do not have the rare player to play these on or a modern conversion.
