Our listings are time consuming in detail and we are often traveling to find these gems, which at times delays the delivery schedule by a day or two. We ALWAYS process and ship every paid order. We have no control over parcels once they are mailed from our local Post Office. Overseas mail to some countries (Italy, Russia, France, in particular) has become very slow. Opening a dispute for slow mail is unacceptable.  We work hard to provide excellent service as is represented by our well over +22,000 positive feedback.   We use an ultrasonic KLAudio machine and thoroughly clean all records. Each order is carefully packaged by removing the LP from the jacket to avoid seam splits, use of 3 ml plastic cover sleeves over each LP and jacket, cardboard pad inserts, and placed in sturdy record mailers for safe delivery.   We take Customer Service seriously, and want you to be satisfied. 2. ORIGINAL 1969 GERMAN first pressing a really great underestimated psychedelic blues rock LP on par with SAM GOPAL.... plenty of strummin' and wailin' guitar within powerfully infectious songs jamming along with drummer Helmut Pohl (who later turns up in Gomorrha) bashing away.
3. This is one of our favorite late '60s psych-blues albums; every track has the 'right' sound capturing this forgotten gem of a past generation.

5. The album is predominately allocated to different guitars, throaty vocals and elastic hard-rock rhythms. Creepy John is vocalist/writer John Thomas, nothing else intended, and previously came from two cult-legend bands, The Flies & Rust who made relic collectibles
6.  CREEPY JOHN, from Australia, recorded as entioned with The Flies. Then moved to London, but soon after settled down in Germany, where he recorded the sought psych album "Come With Me" with his band Rust. He then formed Creepy John Thomas with German musicians Andy Marx & Helmut Pohle (who were not amused, when this LP was released with wrong musician-credits and a bunch of uninvolved hipsters on the cover).

8. The first (of eventually two) Creepy John Thomas LP's was released in the UK too, but puzzling, it went ignored by record collectors. After this album, the group created the album "Brother Bat Bone" 1970, being a German only release on the 'Telefuken' label, and one that's pretty weird & great having more of a progressive adventurous edge rather than the acid-bluesy grit found throughout this one, their first.
   
   Creepy John plays all guitar/bass and sings, but is backed on "(Do I Figure) In Your Life" by Andy 'Shotgun' Marx/lead guitar & bass (later to join & support Cherubin, Tanned Leather, Utopia/Olaf Kubler, Udo Lindenberg). 
9. Paul Rodger ( vocalist in FREE ) also lends some backing vocals on "Ride A Rainbow"
10.  This album is produced by future Krautrock studio wizard engineer/producer Conrad Plank (aka Conny Plank). Fans of Kraftwerk, Guru Guru, Cluster, Neu!, etc will no doubt recognize this name. Oh yeah...Conny also displays his bongo playing skills here and there.
11. "Creepy John Thomas" (1969) opens by a hard blues tune, "Gut Runs Great Stone" with a throbbing rhythm that just kicks most any  listener, causing one to head-bang and simultaneously tap the rhythm with your hand.

13. Next tune is another favorite in "(Do I Figure) In Your Life", a chilled psych classic. Lyrics, solid and fluid, go great with the melody, which is a real thing here - although it's just few chords changing in the background, second guitar runs wails along the song . Bass with drums creates a solid groove and nice background - but highlight of the track is executed by one of Hendrix's styled jams, containing much emotion, after few moments of listening, may become a favorite solo on the album.
    
    "You've Gotta Hide" is bluesy tune with pure classic solid rock  elements, catchy chorus and fitting well within the first side of this album. "One Way Track Blues" is awesome blues riff, electric lead riffing mixed with acoustic guitar, and vocals executed well; totally bluesy, including a sour tone as a strength at the finish. The gritty guitar solo is another high-light in this tune. You may notice  they're singing "...Left my house, spend my time, Blue Cheer, plunder sky..."  concluding the band probably had a good relationship with Blue Cheer while Creepy John was in San Francisco. 
14. "Trippin' Like A Dog, Rockin' like a Bitch" is an immediate ear-grabbing shaker containing psychedelic guitar winding around the track amid growling acid-weary vocals -- a biker of legend (buddy Butler) demanded this stand-out track to be his true anthem
    
    "Ride A Rainbow" is psychedelic-trip themed tune, made by hippies for hippies - dedicated to peace, unity and love. 
15. Thomas' guitar talents are obvious by his acid-blues tones painting every song with vivid mental pictures. 
16. Next tune, "Green Eyed Lady", instantly reminds of the bass groove on "The Other Side Of This Life" by mighty Jefferson Airplane, which affirms Thomas' connection with San Fran's 'people' scene. Although the bass work sounds similar, the tune is nothing like upper mentioned. 
17. If anything is really catchy here - then "Sun and Woman" is the winner. Guitar lines being both cheery and catchy, the song is prone to stick with your mind for weeks.
    
    Pumping rhythms on "Lay It On Me" should really satisfy, and the knitting of guitar leads may cause you to you love this band. It's funny how they use chorus from "Ride A Rainbow" in this song, just like that, in the middle of song. 
18. Elsewhere, "Bring Back The Love" will wake the cosmic-eastern side in you. There's bongos and sitars, spaced-out rhythmic singing - like in a middle of some ritual; reflected within Krokodil's "Invisible World" Lp. 
19. Realizing the total strength of this album, the listener would expect another 10 minute psych-bluesy jammer of sorts, but it ends with a cool yet rather short finale.
