Description
This is a very RARE Music Me All Over 7" compilation that was released on Saddle Creek Records and Rolling Hills Records in 1996. It was the first vinyl appearance from Conor Oberst (of Bright Eyes) while playing in his first band, Commander Venus. The band also featured Tim Kasher of Cursive on bass and backing vocals. Also featured on the compilation is Norman Bailer (who later went on to become The Faint). Also included are songs by Weld (featuring Matt Oberst), and the Lux-O-Values.
Only 500 copies were pressed, and it went out of print very quickly.
This record for sale is actually one of the original 3 test pressings, so this is extra extra rare! The vinyl is in mint condition and includes the original xerox insert. Unfortunately it does not include the original cover (which were printed on wedding napkins).
A huge piece of Omaha indie rock history!
