Description
Up for auction is a RARE unreleased one sided 45 rpm 10" acetate record single from an unknown mid-60 jangly folk rock group!
This was recorded at Stu-Phillips Sound Studios in NYC in the mid-60s.
The acetate includes the song lyrics to "The Harlem Strut" as published by Summerhouse Music Publishers most likely in the mid-60s.
The acetate recording is a re-working of the Harlem Strut, changed to "The Go-Go Strut" and noted in pen underneath the title on the acetate.
The music is upbeat, jangly and verges on the sort of early Fugs-like psych /garage tinged folk rock.

CONDITION:
Acetate grooves are in an overall clean and in Visual VG+ (Very Good+) Grade condition.
Plays great!
Please note, As with all acetates, it should be played sparingly!
Comes with its original acetate sleeve and is in overall nice condition.
This acetate was from a larger collection of Philadelphia / New York City based recording producer Sonny Casella.
