Description
Super very first UK pressing of the classic Al Stewart CBS LP 'Love Chronicles', 63460 and in MONO!! A-2/B-2 hand-scratched (not stamped) matrix suffixes. VERY RARE in mono, the vast majority of copies of this title were pressed in stereo!! Led Zeppelin's Jimmy Page on guitar duties.
The matt gatefold sleeve has very light edge and corner wear and some light rippling on the back - grades EX-.
Vinyl plays extremely well, with very strong audio. The surface is very clean, glossy and shiny, with some light hairlines not affecting very nice sound. There is a little surface crackle at the start of each side, which soon dissipates, and there are a few light clicks here and there, and this copy certainly grades EX- overall.
