Description

Rumored to be the first punk band in Appleton, WI, these high schoolers showed up in Green Bay in the early punk days playing all covers, mostly Sex Pistols and Ramones. Upon some heckling, realizing that they were expected to write their own material, they came back soon after with what locals like the good Rev Norb called "a bunch of great originals."

They moved to Madison in 1984, and recorded an ep with Butch Vig (Nirvana, Smashing Pumpkins, Garbage) near the end of the year, resulting in this 1985 EP. A couple tracks, including this one, ended up on a compilation. They also put out a demo in '83. While you can hear post-1977 sounds on the EP, including hardcore and especially post punk on the lead-off track, others find them squarely in Sex Pistols Land, from the vocals to the laughs and the rock riffs.
