BEATLEMANIACS! We purchased a HUGE BEATLES COLLECTION (nearly 1000 items!); we're still plowing through the pile, so add us to your favorite sellers list.
Scarce Beatles single! VG- 45 plays VG; both labels have faint, tiny writing & the Love Me Do label also has spots (see photos). Not for The Vault, but it'll fix a hole until you're ready to spend $100 or more for an M- gem. Includes Capitol Star Line sleeve.
In 1965, rights to VeeJay Beatles recordings reverted to Capitol Records. Capitol immediately issued 6 Fabs 45s on its green Star Line label. One of them, Kansas City/Boys, was little-known in the States and sold well; it's the least valuable. 4 others were big sellers as 1964 VJ/Tollie singles; by '65 they were old news (the 6th, Roll Over Beethoven, was previously a Canada-only Capitol). Love Me Do, 3 years out-of-date by '65, is one of the 4 that sold poorly & is very rare as a result!
