Description
THE BEATLES “Let It Be” on APPLE SOAL-6351. Rare original 1970 Canadian 12-track LP box set includes the 160-page soft back photo book 'The Beatles Get Back' housed in a special tray. The LP itself is contained in it's own cover and the entire package encased with a slip on outer cover. The book is packed with colour/B&W photos & text from the film which was never sold separately.
The LP itself is in VG+ condition (vinyl glossy, clean labels & only a few light scratches / scuffs which don’t affect the sound). The album cover is also in VG+ condition (the seams & spine are excellent – no splits, worn spots, etc. & only minor surface wear;).
The book is in excellent condition except for the very common loose pages (the pages are separated from the spine on about the first half of the book). The pages themselves are in beautiful condition – very glossy, very little wear, no tears or creases. There is a thin “glassed” strip along the front edge of the spine’s outer cover (see photo).
The outer slip-on sleeve has some nicks & wear, especially along the lower edge. There is a split on one edge of the lower seam which has been supported with clear tape.
