Description
RARE BEATLES 45RPM "8 Days a Week" APPLE with Black Star Cat#5371. B side is "I Don't Want to Spoil the Party." Condition is MINT/NM appears to be not played- very shiny. There is one 1/2" scuff that does not affect play. Label is clean not writing or wear. This record looks brand new! Comes with generic vintage sleeve.
I play tested. Music is all clean with no surface noise and reflects 1971 recording technology.

This is the rare "Black Star" version. In early 1971 all pre-Apple Beatles singles were reissued with Apple labels. This production run lasted from Spring 1971 until Apple shut down in 1975.
There are three Apple label types:
1. Apple labels with a “black star” located in the lower right part of the full Apple side (Side A). These were reissued in Spring and Summer of 1971 and pressed by the Los Angeles record plant.
2. Plain Apple labels. These were reissued from May 1971 to September 1975 and pressed by the Jacksonville, Los Angeles and Winchester record plants.
3. Apple labels with the “all rights reserved” language printed on both Side A and Side B. These were reissued from September to December 1975 and pressed by the Jacksonville and Los Angeles record.
Thus, this record is the result of that short 6 month run! So rare it's not listed on Discogs!
