Formed in London, England in late 1969. Rare Bird was originally formed around the principle of keyboard dominated progressive rock, shunning the use of guitars. Keyboardist Dave Kaffinetti  would later appear as the keyboard player in the movie, "Spinal Tap"! .................................................................................................
