Musicians: Ozzy Osbourne - vocals & harmonica on 'The Wizard'; Tony Iommi - guitar & slide guitar on 'The Wizard'; Geezer Butler - bass; Bill Ward - drums & percussion.
Brief Info: Black Sabbath's formation came right at the end of the 1960's decade in 1969 they signed with the Phillips subsidiary label, Fontana. Their first ever recordings were issued as a single in January,1970, the song chosen for the A-side was "Evil Woman" with "Wicked World" on the B-side, a fantastic pair of tracks containing Black Sabbath's unique sounds.
Cover Grade and Format: EXCELLENT / NEAR MINT.
Vinyl Condition/Visual Grading: EXCELLENT . Surface mark on 1st track can be heard if you listen carefully. However as the track is a loud track and the slight click is in step with the music I did not notice it on 1st listening before I placed this ad.
Sound Quality and Audio Grading: Apart from above comment re 1st track this album plays very well and I would grade it as EXCELLENT otherwise I would have graded it as NEAR MINT.
I use the grading categories as described on Discogs with the exception that I have titled the Very Good Plus (VG+) category on Discogs as EXCELLENT. All other grade titles are as per the Discog titles e.g. Mint, Near Mint, Very Good etc.
These records and the ones on my other listings are part of my private collection that I am selling. I will be adding other records everyday over the next couple of weeks.
