Description
T. S. McPhee, Ain’t Gonna Cry No Mo’/Someone to Love Me (Purdah 45-3501) (1966).
Guitarist T. S. McPhee’s debut recordings, produced by Mike Vernon.
The first issue on Purdah, a short-lived Blue Horizon-group label.
Only 99 copies were ever pressed of this item. In its original plain paper sleeve.
From the collection of the noted UK blues writer – and Blue Horizon co-founder – Neil Slaven.
Condition: like new. Paper sleeve very slightly tanned at edges and slightly creased.
Very rare. As far as the seller can determine, this item has not been offered on eBay in the past decade, if ever.
This is part of a large collection of Blue Horizon and related-label 45s that will be advertised here over the next few weeks.
In view of the item’s value, the buyer will be billed for a tracked-and-signed postal service, to which may be added, if appropriate, a further amount in full-sale-value insurance cover. Buyers are free to request cheaper postal services but at their own risk.
