“BOSTON BLOW-UP”
Serge Chaloff
Excellent original 1955 FIRST MONO LP pressing on the turquoise Capital records label (T-6510).
Serge Chaloff has been described as 'the most expressive and openly emotive baritone saxophonist jazz has ever witnessed' with a tone varying between a light but almost inaudible whisper to a great sonorous shout with the widest but most incredibly moving of vibratos. He is considered the greatest be-bop baritone saxophone player of all-time in many circles. He has played triumphantly with superstars such as Miles Davis, Charlie Parker, Sonny Clark, among other jazz greats.
