Description
RARE Beatles "Hey Jude" album originally issied in the United States as a compilation but this album issued in the United Kingdom for export on the Apple label under the cat. # CPCS 106. This rare album features both label errors that were together only present on very first pressings. These two errors are the song Revolution written as "Revolutions" and the song Paperback Writer listed as "Paper Back Writer". Also very rare on this album is the stamper for the A-side which is "YEEX 150-1 G 1" which indicates the very earliest possible pressing. The B-side falls just behind with the stamper "YEEX 151-1 A 1" which still indicates an early press. Also comes with original inner sleeve as seen in pictures.
Condition is not bad on this album, both album and cover are in nice presentable shape. The fully laminated cover is solid, seams are all intact including the spine which is fully legible. There is some brown residue on the top right corner of the fromt cover, likely from a sticker. Some laminate creases on the back cover but overall very solid. Comes with an original inner sleeve, brown stain on opening edge on a side. The disc is not bad, some wear as to be expected but nothing deep enough that playback would be severely impacted with a skip or stick. Not archival but should make a decent player copy. Some light spindle wear on A-side.
