Description
Up for auction is the rarer STEREO Unpeeled Beatles' 1966 BUTCHER COVER and vinyl Lp issued by Capitol Records in 1966 but hurriedly recalled with the trunk slicks pasted over on top of the Butcher slick! this is #5 West Coast or LA pressing as denoted by the small #5 on the lower back cover....this is a pretty good one folks with only minor problems...certainly an upgrade for most Beatles record collectors....Ringo's black V-neck sweater is visible under trunk slick.....the unpeeled Butchers are becoming rarer than their second state or peeled counterparts because of the number of peels...this is an iconic album as most of you know...STEREO versions much rarer than the mono releases.....study the pictures carefully for condition including any stains, soiling, or storage wear..I will let your eyes decide condition....no peels or attempted peels on this one only the minor wear on the cover where indicated in the pictures....top seam has about a 2" split in center..side seam has about a 1/4" split at top left...bottom seam has about 2" split from right mouth of opening.....comes with original matching vinyl lp with machine stamped asterisk in trail off areas....vinyl only good with lots of scratches, scuffs and wear which is typical of these records, after all "Yesterday" was on this record and must have been played thousands of times!....comes with original Capitol inner sleeve.....Highest bidder over $150 WINS!!!!
