Description

We go to estate sales virtually every weekend and come across a wide array of unique items.  We are constantly adding to our growing online inventory.  We pick up new items from all over the world and all over the United States.  We add 25-50 new items every week and we will be continually expanding upon that number of new items weekly.  If you'd like to, feel free to add us to your saved seller's list and check back often.  We would be honored to add you to our repeat customer list.  We also put items on sale regularly, so keep an eye out for new sale items.

There is always a Sale by TheBay.

We ask what we consider to be a fair price for anything we sell.  We understand that our idea of a fair price may be someone else's 'that's too much' cost.  If that's the case, feel free to make us an offer and will consider it.  However, please avoid making lowball offers.  If you make us a lowball offer, we will thank you kindly for your interest and respectfully decline your offer.

Now onto the item for sale.

For sale is an ULTRA rare two album set of Bruckner Symphony No. 7 conducted by Otto Klemperer and the Philharmonia Orchestra. These albums were issued by Columbia Records and are the rare pressings from Great Britain, UK. As you can see in the pictures, these are the much rarer 1962 first pressings with the light blue and silver labels.

These albums almost never come up for sale on here from a U.S. based seller. Heck, these light blue and silver label versions hardly ever come up for sale from anywhere. This is the only set available as of this listing. This is the kind of album you don't pass on if you are an aficionado of classical music.

All four sides of vinyl are glossy jet black with a mirror like finish in the matrices and absolutely beautiful. There are some very light surface scratches on the albums, but most are difficult to see and only at the right angle under a strong light source.

We have play tested both of these albums due to their rarity and value. It is actually the very first album we play tested after we got a new needle for our turntable. All four sides sounded incredible and were free of any sound problems.

The labels are equally impressive with only very minimal wear you can see around the center hole. Both center holes are in great shape too.

The album covers are also quite nice and don't have any creases, or writing and you can read all album information on the spine. The worst part is a small seam split a bit longer than 1" in the center of the top of the cover for album SAX 2454. As you can see in the pictures, the back of each cover does have the original price sticker in the upper right corner above the album number.

One of the album sleeves is the original we believe, but the other one is a Vanguard sleeve, so it definitely isn't original. The original sleeve has no seam splits and is a better quality sleeve. The Vanguard sleeve has a fairly long seam split on the side. I'd put both of these albums in top quality sleeves if it were me, but we'll leave that up to the next owner.

These albums will each be packed in album boxes and then a larger box for extra protection. We will ship these albums with the proper insurance and for FREE within the U.S. Although this item shows no international shipping, we will be happy to ship them internationally. However, if these do go international, they will need to be mailed properly insured USPS International Priority and the price will be determined based on the destination country. We'd be happy to provide a quote upon request.

Thanks for looking and God bless!

We have never received a negative feedback in over 14 years on eBay.  We understand that our customers don't have the security of picking up our items and inspecting them in their hands.  We take numerous pictures of all of our items and provide a detailed description of any imperfections we may find.  That doesn't mean we always get it correct.  If we don't, we won't throw you out with the bath water.  We accept returns for any reason and give you 14 days to make your decision.  Even if you decide you just don't like or want the item, let us know, send it back and we'll return your payment immediately upon receiving the item back.

We also pack our items very well.  We use bubble wrap and/or packaging peanuts along with thick cardboard boxes.  If an item is breakable, we clearly mark that on every side of the box except the bottom.  We have received dozens of positive comments regarding our packaging and we will always package our items with the same care as we would want our purchases to be packed.
