GREAT and RARE California garage AND MOST LIKELY SOME KINDA BARGAIN...backed with frantic FUNK instrumental
I don't think you'll find this in Fuzz Acid & Flowers, it's too obscure, but you definitely can find reference to it at the great site- finerecodingstudio, then the section called g45Legends

AMBER AR 3942 RCA press with stamped RCA matrix numbers. (In other words, it's genuine)

CONDITION: VISUALLY THIS RATES A NICE VG+(7)

PLEASE PLEASE, CHECK MY GRADING SCALE BELOW. STRICT GRADING.'VG+' MEANS BETTER THAN VERY GOOD. It is NOT a euphemism for 'pretty bad'. HOWEVER, YOU SHOULD READ ON- NOT ALL THE NEWS IS GOOD

LABELS- nearly perfect, except for a small scratch visible in the pic below. VINYL-all glossy, some very light scratches (all parallel) near the beginning, both sides, and a couple of scuffs visible. UNFORTUNATELY, THERE IS ALSO ONE VERY AUDIBLE SCRATCH AT THE BEGINNING, and a couple of very small digs elsewhere. While investigating the scratch, I discovered a tiny crack in the same location which does NOT affect play - IF I HADDA GUESS, I'D SAY THIS RECORD TOOK ONE (one ONLY) unauthorized attempt at escape (from an abusive relationship of course!- I don't even remember if it was me...) and ended up taking an unfortunate short trip onto the floor. As luck always has it, it wasn't the admittedly cool instrumental side which went face down. NO- it just HADDA be the legendary garage rarity side... PLAYS - with GREAT FIDELITY, but with the audible clicks mentioned above

BOTTOM LINE- IT GETS A 5 FOR SOUND ONLY AND ONLY FOR THE FIRST 25 SECONDS, but you can judge for yourself. LISTEN BELOW

TRULY GREAT GARAGE that rarely comes up for view and when it does, probably is on some private list. Take a shot, what do you have to lose?

All my soundfiles are always from the actual record being auctioned- dual cs5000 t.t., shure v15IV cartridge and are unaltered by equalization or noise reduction.MORE GOOD NEWS- because I want to SELL the records, almost all records with soundfiles will have been cleaned on a Nitty Gritty!

M(10) NO COMPROMISES! PERFECT! Label, vinyl, sound, all perfect…

M-(9) Maybe a few smudges, some very fine sleeve marks, etc. All glossy vinyl. Label pretty. Sounds great!! (sleeve marks are those tiny scratches with no effect on sound)

Vg++(8) A few sleeve marks or a few fine scratches, label still nice. Good gloss. Could have the slightest of gray in grooves-- still sounds great!! UK: EX+

Vg+(7) Probably lots of sleeve marks, OR several fine scratches, OR one or two more serious scratches, OR scuffs. OR, a record with gray grooves. Some gloss. Label is still real nice! Possibly a bit of dirt on it, etc. Overall, a fine copy. No noticeable record noise. UK:EX

Vg(6) It has sleeve marks AND: numerous very fine scratches, or a few more serious scuffs. Still nice looking overall. May be noise in quiet passages, but still sounds good! Still some gloss. Label is beginning to show signs of wear, but not serious. UK: Ex-, Or VG++. Very good, NOT pretty bad

Vg-(5) LOTS of fine scratches and almost no gloss. OR a few serious scratches, OR scuffed. Label is possibly worn. Plays with noise which doesn’t overwhelm the music. Gloss is possible, if the scratches are bad enough.UK: VG+

G+(4) COMPLETELY covered with fine scratches, OR a mix of fine and serious scratches or other defects. Label may be pretty trashed, but is generally readable. Plays with hiss, crackle or distortion, but not awful. UK:VG

G-(3) A filler. LOTS of serious scratches, definitely some audible. Noise is more prominent than the music. Label is BARELY readable. BUT: it plays ok… UK: VG- Worse than good, you know?

F(2) Just barely acceptable. Plays through. Label SERIOUSLY worn. UK: G

P(1) POOR! Gots lotsa problems: Probably broken, AND has scratches etc. Probably doesn’t play. So bad I wouldn’t try. Whadda bargain!!!

NOTE: I DON’T DOWNGRADE FOR OTHER DEFECTS, SUCH AS WOL, SOL, #OL, SMALL STICKER STAIN, I JUST DESCRIBE THEM.
