Description

From 1958, comes the EXCEEDINGLY rare first cover for The Chantels first album entitled We Are The Chantels on End LP301 MONO. The album, of course, is included in this auction! On this LP we have the scarce first cover with a photo of the five members of the group dressed in their finery.This cover was almost immediately replaced with a jukebox cover. The cover seams were taped; the tape was removed and left a glue residue. There are tears on the rear cover that occurred when the tape was removed. The front cover did not have this problem.Large seam splits top and bottom seam, and side seam is completely split. If you need a copy of the original cover, here's your chance to buy one without going into hock! Slight embossing on front cover,name on rear cover, VG+ cover and record is being thrown in with this; it is not in good shape. Remember- it is the COVER that is worth the money!!  ALL RECORDS GRADED VISUALLY WITH BRIGHT LIGHT AND 26 PLUS YEARS OF EXPERIENCE!!!
