Description

TITLE: RHYTHM ‘N’ BRASS - MARK DUVAL AND HIS MUSIC

CAT: LPC 1065 CONDITION – SLEEVE / DISC: EX / EX, STANDARD WEAR FOR AGE, SOME LIGHT SURFACE MARKS THAT SO NOT EFFECT PLAY.

A rare and very desirable late Chappell library LP. Dates from 1974. Superior library LP this one, with bags of funky soul madness. Some soundclips below, the first is a quick skip across the first four cues of Side One, the second the track “White Fire” from Side Two which is classic Headhunters / Herbie Hancock style funk, not dissimilar to the Fat Albert funk sound. Music here by David Perian, all played by the peerless Mark Duval And His Big Band. Rarely seen LP. Out of all the Chappells, the picture / girl sleeve ones are particularly scarce. I have been collecting library LPs since the 1990s and rarely come across them. See my other items. Over the next few weeks I will be listing some rare and desirable library LPs. Please keep me bookmarked. Also email me if you have any specific wants. No reserve. Paypal only. I ship anywhere. Please wait for invoice at the end of the auction before you pay, so I can work out exact postal cost, possibly including insurance if value of item exceeds £30.
