Description
There are just four of the classic Chappell TVM series. All rare, hard to find and exceptionally desirable. This is TVM 3, and is known as Video-tronics and Hi-Tronics. Offering you two sides of Killer electronic experimentation and more.
SIDE ONE: VIDEO-TRONICS No1 – 7, all by Cecil Leuter. Cecil Leuter is of course one of the many alias names of Roger Roger.
SIDE TWO HI-TRONICS No1 – 7, all by Geroges Teperino, who is actually Nino Nardini.
Musically this is extraordinary, Side One is a mixture of musique concrete, the avant garde, intense picture music based on improvised instruments, clanging, banging, the sounds of deep sea, mental breakdowns, episodes in space, tape loops and some synthesis. Side Two on the other hand is multi-layered sythn work, kooky rhythms, wild washes, squeaks, pops, heavy throbs, proto acid noise, music for outer space and the inner mind - very strange things indeed. An extraordinary LP in many ways.
Sleeve: VG, with a repaired 2 inch tear to the opening side, slight corner bumps, what you’d expect from a working copy of a library LP.
Vinyl: EX, looks a plays very cleanly, the odd surface noise every now and again, but nothing significant. Superb.
