Payment is required within seven days. We mail all paid items ONE WEEK after auctions end. Please keep in mind our listings are time consuming in detail and we are often traveling to find these gems, which at times delays the delivery schedule by a day or two. We ALWAYS process and ship every paid order. We have no control over parcels once they are mailed from our local Post Office.Overseas mail to some countries (Italy, Russia, France, in particular) has become very slow. Opening a dispute for slow mail is unacceptable and will result in blocking the bidder. We work hard to provide excellent service as is represented by our 8000 plus positive feedback. We use a VPI machine and thoroughly clean all records. Each order is carefully packaged by removing the LP from the jacket to avoid seam splits, use of 3 ml plastic cover sleeves over each LP and jacket, cardboard pad inserts, and placed in sturdy record mailers for safe delivery. We take Customer Service seriously, and want you to be satisfied. Very scarce Original 1975 first pressing issued only in the Netherlands. Bonfire are unknown for sure but no matter, impressive highly skilled musicians who play very expressive and dramatic in the best styles of progressive rock - so much so that they were easily able to land a deal with major league EMI Records.
A nice and unfairly underrated only album by Dutch band "BONFIRE" . They're a quartet playing a very dynamic blend of complex creative hard edged progressive, strong instrumentaion elements that echoes another Dutch band "Finch" with the same style of rhytmical energy. Bonfire are more than just keyboards, bass and drum with each member standing out here, but the guitarist Eugene Den Hoed is the real attraction of the band, with example on the brilliant opener "Delerium". All through both sides, the material is such that it never bores the listener, because every tracks develops an intricate theme full of contrasts and changing times. In this sense, "Contrast" is the typical Bonfire track, with its large variety of moods, like the 19 minute long suite "The sage of the running nose", offering exciting keyboards/guitar interplay. Overall Bonfire deliver an album of solid progressive hard rock with complex energy and passion overtones.Delirium (3:14)
