REASONABLE STARTING BID AND NO RESERVE

This is an original first issue of this rare LP on the yellow 'harp' Atco label from 1958. The vinyl is VG, there are surface marks and an occasional crackle or pop but no major impairment to the sound quality. The labels are EX+ and the cover is EX+ with no issues except very minor corner rubbing to bottom left corner, otherwise like new. Please note that unless the play quality is specifically mentioned records are graded visually. PLEASE NOTE I NO LONGER USE THE TERM 'MINT' OR 'NEAR MINT' to describe vinyl. In practice there are very few records out there that have not been played at least once and I wish to avoid the tendency amongst sellers to overgrade their items for sale. I aim to describe the visual appearance of all items accurately using the standards below which are based on the UK Record Collector Price Guide. The highest grade I use now is EX++. Records graded EX+ or EX++ would probably be called 'near mint' or 'mint' by most sellers. Please READ THE ITEM DESCRIPTION CAREFULLY and study photographs to avoid disappointment later. I will refund only on items which do not conform to the description and standards set out here.

GRADING SYSTEM

EXCELLENT: The item has been played and may have some light surface marks but there is very little lessening in sound quality. Cover and contents have slight wear.

VERY GOOD: The record has been played many times but displays no major deterioration in sound quality despite noticeable surface marks and the occasional light scratch. Cover and contents show some wear.

GOOD:The record has been played and alot and sound quality has deteriorated noticeably. The cover and contents are damaged.

I use EX++,EX+,EX,EX-,VG++,VG+,VG,VG- as subsidiary gradings. Unless the record is extremely rare I do not sell items which are less than VG- in condition.

I cannot guarantee to describe every detail of the record and cover BUT the grading will reflect the general, actual condition. ONLY if the grading does not reflect the condition will I refund. I do not refund return postage costs.

Secure postage for single LPs is £3.00 (UK) and £6.00 (EU). Double LPs £5.00 (UK) and £9.50 (EU). The rest of world is £7.00 for single LPs and £10.00 for doubles. Rates for multiple copies and singles vary. I obtain a certificate of posting from the UK Post Office for all items. If an item is lost in the post I will claim on the buyer's behalf and reimburse when the Post Office pays compensation. I will refund the purchase price for any item which does not match the grade criteria outlined above. You will see from my feedback that buyers are very positive about the accuracy of the descriptions I provide. It is the buyer's responsibility to read the listing carefully. I will not refund if the buyer has made unwarranted assumptions about the item. I WILL REFUND AUCTION COSTS IN FULL IF A CLAIM IS MADE WITHIN 3 WEEKS OF THE END OF THE AUCTION.
