Description
This is an original UK very early (earlier than mainman) vinyl pressing of the classic 1971 David Bowie album - Hunky Dory The album that turned Bowie into a true superstar On RCA Orange Victor label ref SF 8244 Matrices are APRS 5947-4E A2P // APRS 5948-3E A6G The 1st Pressing (well excluding the Bowpromo) would have had a laminated sleeve, this is Matt, I think its about mid 70s so still early....plus this ... Record is an EX+ - beautiful condition with only very few very very light surface marks...labels are clean with NO spindle wear - this has seen very little turntable time...if any Inner is a plain white, slight crease but clearly in great shape Sleeve is a solid EX - physically all that I can note are the smalles, feintest hairlines, spine is nicely squared. Minimal wear. Theres the start of a little ringwear to the top front and the opening edge is slightly sun faded. I use the Record Collector Grading Criteria which is as follows: Mint: The record itself is in brand new condition with no surface marks or deterioration in sound quality. The cover and any extra items such as the lyric sheet, booklet or poster are in perfect condition. Records advertised as sealed or unplayed should be Mint. Excellent: The record shows some signs of having been played, but there is very little lessening in sound quality. The cover and packaging might have slight wear and / or creasing. Very Good: The record has obviously been played many times, but displays no major deterioration in sound quality, despite noticeable surface marks and the occasional light scratch. Normal wear and tear on the cover or extra items, without any major defects, is acceptable. Good: The record has been played so much that the sound quality has noticeably deteriorated, perhaps with some distortion and mild scratches. The cover and contents suffer from folding, scuffing of edges, spine splits, discoloration, etc.
