RARE DAVID BOWIE The Man Who Sold the World clear vinyl

Hi and a BIG thank you for your time to view my items.

Please read carefully:
I have once again after a very long break to list hopefully a varied selection of items from a very large collection that I have been collecting over many years. .

Now I’m not here to have an open debate or argument with anyone in the Ebay community, whether they be a professional or amateur seller or collector but over my collecting years there is always an element of surface or background noise/sound with audio reproduction on vinyl reproduction, I have purchased sealed audiophile heavyweight pressings that have suffered from some surface noise and in the very odd case were totally unplayable. I have purchased sealed records straight from the factory and these have suffered some degree of surface noise, it’s inherent in the pressing of vinyl and the way it is produced.
All used vinyl has at least light marks and surface scratches which are always visible when viewed under a bright light, my advice would be to stick to CD if you are after total blackout silence. Myself I believe surface noise adds to an emotional experience of reality which can not be matched by CD only my opinion

All the records (LP’s and 7 inch singles) that I intend to put onto Ebay for sale are 2nd hand either my own or have been given to me and have in many cases been played, some more than others. But I will always highlight this fact when grading, if the vinyl has surface marks or other defects these will be pointed out also.

I’m very sorry but I don’t always have time to play grade every single item, and the majority of my grading is done by purely visual means, so please view my feedback and you will see that I try to give the best account on the condition of any item I put up for auction.

This is my hobby and not my profession.

I will though play LP’s, and singles that are very collectable to get a better insight to the playing condition of the item being sold for auction.

Now I accept that the above may differ from any winning bidders perception of what I have graded. I cannot always vouch for whether every record plays all the way through in total black silence with no noise. If you have any doubts then please email me or again just view my feedback.

DAVID BOWIE: The Man Who Sold the World Scarce 1990 US limited edition Direct Metal Mastered 13-track three sided double audiophile LP pressed on 100% CLEAR virgin vinyl with four bonus tracks not on the original 1971 release. Great gatefold picture sleeve with obi-strip RALP0132-2.



THE COVER: The gatefold cover shows the faintest amount of wear to the corners. No wear to the edges. There are no splits or tears and is free from any writing or other damage.
I have graded the cover in NEAR MINT condition.

THE BACK COVER: Again the back cover shows no writing and has been graded in NEAR MINT condition.

THE OBI STRIP: There is a split at the bottom and has been graded in EXCELLENT condition.

THE INNER SLEEVE: Protective Audiophile inner sleeve

THE VINYL: All the vinyls have the most fantastic shine to all playing surfaces and show no scratches at all when held up and viewed under a strong light. There are no faint marks because of the protective inners. I have graded all three LP's in NEAR MINT condition.


THE LABELS: The labels show NO spindle marks and all LP's seem to appear unplayed. All the labels are in NEAR MINT condition with no writing on any of the surfaces.

PACKING:

ALL Records are packed separately to the sleeves to avoid seam-splitting stiffeners and padding will be added where necessary.

I always try to be very careful and honest when grading, and all feedback is appreciated if you are not entirely happy with your item that you have won, I will gladly refund all monies on return of item. If you have any questions regarding this item please e-mail me before placing any bids.

PLEASE DO NOT checkout and assume you know the postal cost of the item you have won until you have received an email from me regarding total payment instructions.
If I receive payment before I have contacted you I will reject it. My costs are based on the weight of the item being sent. And not what ebay requires I fill in to complete my auction transaction. In many cases costs maybe less.
