Description
“Foolish One" b/w "Gonna Feed My Baby Poison” by The Rocketeers on Herald 415, original U.S. pressing from 1953. One of the rarest releases on the Herald label, and the only one by this this obscure vocal harmony group!
Disc is VG with plenty of gloss. There are numerous light scuffs and scratches, but none deep enough to detract from the music. Moderate surface noise does not overpower the good sound, and a very slight edge warp does not affect the music. The sound would probably be even better after a good machine cleaning, but I prefer to leave that to the discretion of the winning bidder.
Labels are VG with wear and soiling, but no tears or stickers. Owners name in pen on A-side, but still displayable with all print clear and intact.
Genuine copies of this rarity almost never come up for sale in any condition, so this is a rare opportunity for any collector of rare and classic vocal harmony, or completists of the Herald label!
BID WITH CONFIDENCE! NO RESERVE!

On Mar-08-07 at 17:37:01 PST, seller added the following information:To be more precise in describing the condition of the vinyl: The edge actually has no warp whatsoever--there is only a very slight heat disturbance to a portion of the outermost grooves. This causes a faint "sshh" sound for a few revolutions only.
