RARE ORIGINAL 1973 SMASH ORIGINAL CAST STEREO PRESSING, CATALOG#. SM 902, ITALY.
Original very 1st pressing of "RIFLESSI" Edipan label edition from 1978. This is the first ed. featuring different credits (Music by AWAKE aka Rino De Filippi), different title and tracklist, but the album is the same. Among the most desired items of the genre!!
Incredible and superb LP, the entire record features stunning Moody Downtempo Funky Breaks accompained by groovy Electronics tunes made by Synthesizer. Lounge Breaks tinged by Prog. music themes. 1st track of side A "IVORY" (Riflessività) is among the best Progressive Funk tunes I ever heard on a Library LP, with killer drums Breaks, one of my fav, crazy! Same for "TO CARLA" (Club) Lounge Funk Breaks and "JUMPING", Downtempo Breakbeats. "BLUE LAGOON" (Ultime Luci) is the infamous track of this album along with "GREEN ROAD" (Iconoteca): incredible Experimental groovy sounds that remember best Umiliani's Electronic compositions. "TO RAMBLE" (Momento Spensierato) is an insane Psycho-Electronic melancholic ending.
Comes with original Smash label sticker on both front and cover.
Recorded at Ortophonic studios - Roma. 'This record has been realized with "Satellite" synthesizer kindly granted by THOMAS Italiana.'
