VERY RARE! MINT! Very seldom if ever seen anymore white label promo Japanese Audiophile edition of Duane Allman (the late great demi-god founder of the Allman Brothers Band), "DUANE ALLMAN: AN ANTHOLOGY VOLUME II."Released 1976 on the now defunct Capricorn Records. Timeless music by a legitimate guitar genius, who as a 21-year-old was thought to be the best in the world by even Eric Clapton himself. This special promo edition comes with two (2) exclusive OBIs!!! It also includes an 8-page book, "DUANE ALLMAN FOREVER." It also boasts six previously unreleased rarities, including too scarce Duane Allman compositions (younger brother Greg was the real composer of the family and the band): "Happily Married Man" and No Money Down." Other unreleased tracks include "Been Gone Too Long" by his early Hourglass group with brother Greg, "Come On In My Kitchen" by Delaney and Bonnie, "an alternate version of "Midnight Rider" by the Allman Brothers, and "Dimples"--an obscurity by the Allman Brothers. From Boz Scaggs to Wilson Pickett (check out "Born To Be Wild" by Duane and Wilson Pickett here), and from Aretha Franklin to Ronnie Hawkins, this anthology has it all. As timeless as air and water, and just as essential, this music is brought to a heavenly surface by the stunning analogue engineering of Victor Musical Industries of Tokyo, Japan. Gatefold cover! Sensational Audiophile that leaps from your speakers with pump and solemnity.
MINT vinyl!!!
VERY STRONG VG++ cover!!! Just slight evidence of typical age. a teeny-tiny ding on a corner point and one of the OBIs has a tiny and clean rip that is insubstantial and very much repairable!
A BEAUTIFUL RARITY!!!!
