You are looking at a very rare original 1969 Introduction to Rare Earth Records limited edition promotional box set. Includes all 5 original lps, all sealed and all looking unusually crisp and clean. This box set has literally only ever come up for auction once on eBay 6 years ago and never before and never since. The individual promo titles with die cut covers come up for auction occasionally but never with the box set, paperwork and all 5 LPs sealed. It has never appeared for sale on Discogs dot com either. The 5 LPs included in this promotional box set are:

Love Sculpture - Blues Helping

The Pretty Things - S.F. Sorrow

Rustix - Bedlam

The Messengers - The Messengers

All 5 LPs are sealed and look sparkling and unhandled. They were likely all sitting in this box untouched for 63 or so years. The outer shrink wraps are unusually crisp and clean looking and have no tears or noticeable wear to their outer shrink wraps. The Pretty Things - S.F. Sorrow has a light crease near its top edge and a few light marks to its shrink wrap on its back side - please see images - and Love Sculpture Blues Helping has a faint stub at the bottom left corner - please see images.  Outside of these small details all 5 sealed LPs look like they fell out of a time machine from 1969. It appears that the box was handled and likely moved around to a normal extent through the years but the LPs inside the box appear to have remained untouched and unhandled through the years.  You will have trouble finding cleaner sealed copies of these rare promotional copies of these releases. The sealed LPs feel flat. Includes 2  crisp and clean copies of its original Rare Earth record label introductory letters - please see images. The outer box looks presentable and shows normal shelf wear along its edges and has flush split seams at its corners. The bottom and top of the box are cleanly separated and there is some normal wear along its spine. Does not feel fragile at all. The front and back covers look clean and presentable as does the Rare Earth record label information on the inside of the box set. I would grade the box VG.

Returns are not accepted on sealed LPs that have been opened. If any of these LPs have been opened returns will no longer be accepted on this box set.

Ships in the U.S. with USPS Priority Mail service with tracking number and signature required upon delivery. Recipient must sign for package. Box set will be double boxed with lots of packing paper.
