 This is a issue of Led Zeppelin: The 10 Legendary Singles. Issued in the late 1980's. Import 10 vinyl 45rpm singles box set. Made in New Zealand. Marketed by W.E.A Records. Atlantic/Swan Song Records. Set is NM condition. Original owner. Records have never been played. Set was bought and stored with collection. Box has light crease wear. A great Led Zeppelin collectible.

SUPER RARE ...extinct very limited issue from 25 years ago...was in & out of print seemingly over night.  =20 killer Zeppelin tracks in custom designed box=Unless you are a complete collector of Led Zeppelin- 'The 10 Legendary Singles' remains a quite scarce and seldom seen release.

 There is a good reason that very few record collectors have ever heard of this box set; it met a limited distribution before being rather quickly discontinued. Essentially- as the title suggests- 'The 10 Legendary Singles' compiles ten of the band's most successful singles, including their respective lesser known/obscure b-sides, for a total of 20 tracks. Some of the band's best known, and best work is here, featuring dynamic in-your-face 45 mixes that mightily exceeds the output of Lp tracks in comparison.

CONDITION: The sleeve: very fragile box set is hard to find in even decent shape. This item has been stored in my personal collection in a dust, dirt, child, smoke-free atmosphere and has never been opened or never played. I suspect that the box wasn't made to last and most surviving boxes are wasted ..here is  a true extraordinary  survivor, rated VG++ and only light previous handling ...very unique release - a must have for serious Zeppelin & hard rock collectors ... 

The back story to this collectors item is way back when out of high school I worked at Wall to Wall Sound and Video for a while and then Sound Odyssey record stores. This was back East and I spent most of my pay checks buying inventory. Later when CBS Records in Pitman, New Jersey sold out to Sony I worked at that Compact Disc Plant and Vinyl began to die as did most of the record stores [Vinyl]. Then Virgin Mega-Stores began to dot the landscape and we all discovered that CDs sounded like Sh$t. Thank God history repeats itself and Vinyl is making a sizable come-back. 

[The price Sticker says $25.00~Import~ and 5/1 means the item came into the store in the month of May and there was only one.]

(CNN) -- Robert Plant has reportedly thrown a wrench in another "Celebration Day" for Led Zeppelin fans -- though his publicist said the report was "rubbish."

The offer to re-form the band was reportedly made by Virgin chairman Richard Branson, a fan of the group, and would have set up dates in three locales: London, Berlin and New Jersey.

"Jimmy, John and Jason signed up immediately," the source told the paper. "It was a no-brainer for them but Robert asked for 48 hours to think about it. When he said no and ripped up the paperwork he had been given, there was an enormous sense of shock. There is no way they can go ahead without him."
