Elvis Presley 7" One Sided Demo Master Recording

RCA - G2WW 0218

 

A: Heartbreak Hotel

 

The record is in G condition. It plays perfectly but with a certain amount of surface noise. The label has a mark & small tear where a label has been removed, and also a stamped catalogue number which was later changed when the song went on official release. The B-side is blank and has no label.

 

This is a VERY rare record, this is not a DJ copy or promo, it's a master recording / demonstration sample which would only have been available to the RCA elite. Very few copies were made.

Grading

M/MINT = Must be in perfect condition with no audible or visible defects whatsoever. The record and cover/sleeve should be exactly as brand new.

NM = Almost mint but has one or two minor visible marks on the cover/sleeve or surface with sound quality remaining unaffected.

EX = There may be a few very light surface marks on vinyl The cover/sleeve may also show slight wear. Still a nice copy and well worth purchasing.

VG = The surface and cover/sleeve show visible signs of wear due to the fact that it has been played on a regular basis. There may be some audible surface noise but it will not effect the listening experience too much.

G = The sound quality has deteriorated due to having been played often. The cover/sleeve and surface will show considerable signs of wear and tear with some possible damage.

The use of plus (+) or minus (-) allows for items that fall between the above grades.
