Frank Thomas was a Florida " Crackers " Historian, Bluegrass Musician. He was a folk guitarist, singer, songwriter who put out just a few self financed, self pressed LPs (his name is in the LP runout. He pressed them!) in the 1980s.
This LP is dedicated to the Crackers, who were pioneers in the Florida frontier in the 1820's, following the Seminole Wars.
All the Songs on "Cracker Nights" are written by Thomas and his wife Ann. Frank does narration setting up the story of each song.
The songs pay homage to the old south of the civil war era.
VG+ Vinyl G - Jacket. The jacket has some storage decay. I I've put the jacket in a separate sealed plastic sleeve, which the buyer should leave on. It Presents fine in the Plastic.
This is a VERY RARE small Label Southern Bluegrass collectible!
