Description
Hard-to-find promotional LP from (Sixto) Rodriguez titled "Cold Fact" issued by Sussex Records (SXBS 7000) in 1970. Pretty amazing album of legendary status that was ignored in America but highly regarded in South Africa, Australia, New Zealand, etc... Detroit singer-songwriter who had some issues with the status quo, economic inequities, relationships and knew how to make his point with intelligent lyrics. The songs are acoustic guitar based with diverse and creative details. Some psychedelic touches on a few and all having something to hold your interest. Dennis Coffey on electric guitar. Another fantastic relic from our favorite era.

Side A label has residue from a double label that had stuck to the first label (see picture). Side B label is in EXCELLENT condition. Vinyl record is in VG+ condition with some light surface marks and some light sleeve fogging. Plays with some background vinyl noises most noticeable at beginning of sides becoming quieter as record plays on...still sounds great! Cover is in VG condition with wear at corners, edgewear, staining along left side, a little grimy with discoloration, radio station timing strip across front and there are two seperate scotch-taped splits on top edge.
